Testimonials

My goal was to be able to walk out of The Gardens at Millville after a double amputation amputation and that’s exactly what I did!

Randy N.

This place is absolutely amazing! The staff care for their residents like they are family. They advocate for what the resident needs no matter what. What’s more, they always have a friendly smile on their face while giving the residents the best care they can. I highly recommend The Gardens at Millville!

The staff at The Gardens at Millville are wonderful! Everyone I came into contact with was kind and caring. Everyone was respectful to my father and shared details and kept me up to date with how he was doing. He was safe, getting the medication he needed, and the opportunity to engage. Thank you for all you did for my father during his stay and for helping him transition home with me. Your kindness and dedication does not go unnoticed.

📣 SUCCESS STORY 📣

Linda needed to increase her strength, endurance and range of motion after being hospitalized for Respiratory Failure with hypoxia.

Linda and her family chose The Gardens at Millville to help her overcome her recent setbacks. Linda began working with our rehabilitation team to increase her safety awareness, transfer ability, using adaptive equipment, strength training, endurance training and fatigue awareness. Linda also began working with our nursing and discharge planning team to help understand and efficiently maximize the use of her new oxygen needs. Linda and her family worked with our therapy team for specific training to help her and her family become familiar with her new life situation and goals.

Linda was able to discharge home with her family and continue to enjoy “life’s simple pleasures.”

Jean R. needed some help with “putting one foot in front of the other.”

She visited the emergency room after being unable to catch her breath after a short hospital stay. In the emergency room it was agreed upon that she would need a short therapy stay in order to remain independent.

The Gardens at Millville was able to admit her directly from the emergency room with the help of her family and insurance carrier. Jean worked on her strength, endurance and the proper use of her walker with her therapy team. Jean also worked with her nursing team for medication management, keeping track of her weight and the proper use of her nebulizer and oxygen treatments.

After a few short days, Jean was able to return home with her family.

We thank Jean for allowing us to take care of her and wish her a Happy and Healthy New Year!
